Below you will find information about the personal data we collect when you use this website. Personal data is any data which can be related to you personally, such as your name, address, email address and user behaviour.
You will usually be able to use our website without divulging any personal data. If we collect personal data on our site, this will always be done on a voluntary basis, wherever possible.
If you get in touch by email or using a contact form, we will store the information you supply (your email address and possibly your name and telephone number) so that we can respond to your enquiry and/or process your order. Data collected in this way will be deleted once storage is no longer required.

You are also entitled to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
If you have granted us consent to the use of your data, you may withdraw this consent at any time with future effect; this will not affect the lawfulness of processing to which you consented before such consent was withdrawn.
Collection of the personal data of visitors to our website
Use of the website
If you use our website for information purposes, we only collect the personal data transferred by your browser to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data which we require for technical reasons to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security (for which the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 Letter f GDPR): IP address, date and time of your enquiry, time zone difference vis-à-vis Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/http status code, quantity of data transmitted, website from which the request originates, browser, operating system and user interface, language and version of the browser software.
Our legitimate interest arises from the purposes for data collection listed above. We never use the data we collect to identify you personally.
In addition to collecting the data referred to above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your hard disc and assigned to the browser you use and which allow certain information to be gathered by whoever sets the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot run programmes or infect your computer with viruses. They are used to make your online experience as a whole more user-friendly and effective.
Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close the browser. They include in particular session cookies. These store what is known as a session ID, which is used to assign the various enquiries made by your browser throughout the session. This allows us to recognise your computer if you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
Permanent cookies are deleted automatically after a prescribed period, which can vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time.
You can configure your browser settings as you wish and, for instance, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies in general. It is important to note that you may then find that you are unable to use all of this website’s functions.
Use of the contact form
If you have enquiries of any kind, you can contact us using the form provided on the website. You will have to provide a valid email address so that we know who is sending the enquiry and are able to respond to it. Other information can be supplied voluntarily.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is governed by Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 Letter a GDPR on the basis of your freely granted consent.
Once we have responded to your enquiry, we will automatically delete the personal data collected by us in relation to your use of the contact form.
Transfer of data
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties other than for the purposes specified in this privacy statement or which are detailed below.
We will only transfer your personal data to third parties if:
• you have granted your explicit consent to this pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 Letter a GDPR,
• transfer is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 Letter f GDPR to protect our legitimate interests, in particular for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, and there are no grounds for assuming that such interests are overridden by your legitimate interests in the data not being transferred,
• transfer is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 Letter c GDPR for compliance with a legal obligation, or
• transfer is legally admissible and is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 Letter b GDPR for the performance of a contract with you.
The measures described below and which we use are implemented in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 Letter f GDPR. By using tracking technologies, we attempt to design our website to meet the demands of its users and to ensure its continuous optimisation. We also use tracking technologies to record statistics on how our website is used and to evaluate its use so that we can optimise your online experience with us. These interests should be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the above provision.
Details of the various data categories and the purposes for which data is processed can be found in the respective tools.
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and for the protection of confidential content during transmission, such as for enquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection in your browser’s address line when it changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and the padlock icon is displayed in your browser’s address bar. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transfer to us cannot be read by third parties.
We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, complete or partial loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by a third party. Our security measures are constantly being upgraded to reflect advances in technology.
Please note that online data transmission may not be totally secure (e.g. when communicating by email). It is not possible to protect such data absolutely against third-party access.
